What is Internal Family Systems (IFS)?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a gentle, effective form of therapy that helps you understand the different “parts” of yourself.
I all have parts—like the part of you that feels anxious, the part that gets critical, the part that avoids things, and even the part that feels hurt or overwhelmed. These parts aren’t problems to fix—they’re trying to help in the best way they know how.
IFS helps you slow down and get to know these parts with curiosity instead of judgment.
A simple way to think about it
Instead of asking “What’s wrong with me?”
IFS helps us ask:
“What part of me is feeling this way—and what does it need?”
