Text messaging is not intended for therapy sessions, crisis support, or urgent clinical matters.

Messages are typically responded to during regular business hours. Response times may vary, and immediate replies are not guaranteed.
3. Emergencies
Text messaging should never be used in emergencies or urgent mental health situations. If you are experiencing a crisis, call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
4. Confidentiality & Privacy
While reasonable efforts are made to protect your privacy, text messaging may not be fully secure. There is some risk that messages could be intercepted, accessed by others, or stored on your device or carrier systems.
By choosing to text, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
5. Client Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Providing an accurate phone number
- Informing the practice if your number changes
- Protecting access to your phone and messages
- Avoiding sharing sensitive personal information via text when possible
6. Consent to Receive Messages
By initiating text communication or providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from this practice related to your care and administrative needs.
7. Opting Out
You may request to stop text communication at any time by notifying the practice in writing or by text. Alternative communication methods can be arranged.
8. Fees
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. You are responsible for any charges from your phone provider.
